Rolling Peak District hills and a stone church near Rainow village.

Rainow, Cheshire

A quiet stay for your cat, on the edge of the Peak District.

Family-run boarding at The Old Hall. Warm rooms, tiled pens, and the same careful attention Lynn has given guests for more than forty years.

Warm, climate-steady rooms

Central heating plus an individually adjustable radiator in every pen. Ceiling fans in summer.

Fed as they are at home

We stock the familiar brands, and we are happy to follow a special diet if you bring the food with you.

Care, including medication

A small, family-run cattery. Lynn will continue any medication during the stay, and is quick to reply.

The rooms

Home-from-home pens, each with its own radiator.

Single pens have 18 square feet of tiled floor and a raised sleeping area. Doubles are twice the size, for cats from the same home. Each room has its own adjustable radiator.

Two window pens look out towards the hills — ask when you book.

People come back because their cats settle.
